Statement on Website Accessibility
The National Institute of Research and Development in Mechatronics and Measurement Technique in Bucharest
(INCDMTM) undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website for people with disabilities, in accordance with the legislation in force, including the rule on the accessibility of websites
of public authorities and institutions ("2022 Rule for monitoring the compliance of websites and mobile applications with accessibility
requirements" and "Decision of the President of the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania no. 815 dated 06.12.2022 for
the approval of the Norms for monitoring the compliance of websites and mobile applications with accessibility requirements")
respecting the basic principles imposed by the above-mentioned norms, namely:
a) perceptibility - the information and components of the user interface must be able to be presented to users in ways that they can perceive;
b) operability - user interface components and navigation must be usable;
c) understandability - the information and operation of the user interface must be understandable;
d) robustness - all content must be sufficiently robust that it can be reliably interpreted by a wide range of user agents, including assistive technologies.
Site design and navigation: we ensure a simple and clear design, with a logical and easy to understand structure that facilitates navigation on all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Contrasts and fonts: we have checked and adjusted the contrast between text and background to make it easier to read, and the fonts are resizable.
Images and multimedia: we provide alternative texts for images and multimedia elements to ensure that they are accessible to the visually impaired.
Interactive components: buttons, links and forms are optimized for use with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Compatibility with assistive technologies: the site is tested for compatibility with screen reading software and other assistive technologies so that people with disabilities can access information without difficulty.
